Bulgari launches four Bulgari models in rose gold and yellow gold
In 1975, Bulgari launched the iconic "Bvlgari Roma" watch designed by Gerald Genta. It was succeeded in 1977 by the "Bvlgari Bvlgari" model, which featured a second "Bvlgari" engraved on the bezel, replacing the "Roma".
On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, Bulgari has returned to the spirit of its founding, pairing gold with black dials and rose gold with silver opal dials. Two case sizes highlight its distinct personality: a modern and unisex 38mm size and a refined, feminine 26mm size.
The first watch features a transparent case back, which allows a full view of the gears and finishes of the self-winding mechanical BVL 191 movement manufactured by the Swiss Manufacture Bulgari.
The movement has a 42-hour power reserve and vibrates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, driving the hours, minutes, seconds and date display at 3 o’clock. It features automatic winding via a ceramic rotor mounted on ball bearings, as well as an instant date change function in just three minutes, as well as a stop-seconds device that blocks the balance when the crown is pulled out.
